Design Brief:
To choose eight well-known landmarks across the Coastliner 700 route and illustrate them. We then created concepts for the entire fleet of Coastliner 700 buses. We used Adobe Illustrator to draw the landmarks from photographs. There are four designs in total: Brighton (The Lanes and Brighton Dome), Worthing (Beach Huts and Worthing Dome Cinema), Chichester (Rowing Boat and Clock Tower), Portsmouth (Spinnaker and HMS Victory). We worked with our client to choose photos of people who would appeal to the demographics of shoppers and visitors to the towns. The buses are eye-catching and this branding exercise has been well received.
