Nicky Mansell - Graphic designer

"I studied for 4 years at northbrook College gaining a National Diploma in General Art and Design, an AS level in Photography, and a Higher National Diploma in Graphic design and Illustration.
I landed my first job in the industry as a junior Graphic Designer at Evolution Squared in 2002. After this I became a permanent member of The Brand Surgery team in 2006 and have been designing to my heart's content ever since."

If you were having a dinner party and could invite three famous people, who would they be?
One, would probably have to be James Hetfield from Metallica to serenade me and my friends all evening!
Two, someone funny to entertain me like Lee Evans, he would crack me up all night!
Three, would have to be someone good to look at like Orlando Bloom - ooooh aarhhh!

What's the last book you read?
'In the night garden' - to my niece!

What did you want to be when you were 10 years old?
Probably older and be able to do the things my brother was allowed to do! I always wanted to be an artist - I even knew I wanted to go to Art college.

What classes did you like in high school?
English, Art, Music and home economics - although anyone who knows me would wonder about the home-ec classes!

What would I find in your refrigerator?
Milk, cheese, ham, vegetables, mayo, yoghurts and 4 pints of Guinness.
