Once your logo, core colours and brand symbols are agreed upon, this will be echoed throughout your website, social media, and other marketing collateral. Your brand guidelines for print and digital will then be created to formalise the look, feel, correct logo use, symbols, images, brand voice, and more. Brand Guidelines for NFSP brand refresh

NATIONAL FEDERATION OF SUB POSTMASTERS

In 2018, we completed a rebrand for the National Federation of SubPostmasters. The National Federation of SubPostmasters (NFSP) is a professional trade association representing post office operators. 

The project included: Logo design, brand guidelines for print and digital. We worked with the team to create a brand identity prism to help the team and NFSP members understand the NFSP brand personality and set the tone for the NFSP communications.

We created symbols, images, language and agreed the tone of voice the NFSP use to communicate in a way that they want to be perceived.  The NFSP branding is clearly recognisable, differentiates the NFSP from other organisations, and clearly communicates our vision, mission and values.

Boss Controls rebrand

Reason for the business rebrand: Boss Controls is a provider of BEMS controls and had split from another company to tapping into a gap in the market, BMS controls maintenance. The Brand Surgery facilitated several team workshops to co-create the company values. It was wonderful to see the engineers excited about what they considered made Boss Controls different. After, this, The Brand Surgery designed a new logo, brand guidelines, and implemented Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) strategy into the brand. Since working with Boss Controls in 2015, the company has trebled in terms of revenue and people. Boss Controls expanded to the north in 2020 and has since launched Boss Remote Solutions. Boss Controls recognises that  Corporate Social Responsibility is essential, and we are now working towards a CSR certification to join their suite of impressive accreditations.

In 2019, we completed a rebrand for Intech Controls. We worked with the team to co-create vision, mission and values. We created a colour palette, look and feel which was translated into a new website, social media templates, brochure, email signatures and other online and offline marketing collateral. 

Rebrand for iese public sector consultants

IESE PUBLIC SECTOR TRANSFORMATION CONSULTANTS

This rebrand focused on the inside. The reason for this rebrand is that the organisation was repositioning from a Government funded organisation to making its own way as a limited company. The logo was easily recognisable and therefore, as there were so many other changes, it was agreed that it should be left. I ran several workshops to co-create the values, then we weaved the values into all the processes.  iESE transforms the public sector and it was agreed that it must lead by example, and transorm and adapt itself. it has become technology based and we have created several new logos for their new apps including: Care Cubed (a social services app), Alchemy (a coaching app) and Organisation Archetect – another public sector transformation app.

Reason. for the rebrand: This was a business acquisition and the new owner wanted a fresh new look for the business. You could almost put this under a brand refresh, rather than a rebrand because the owner declined our recommendation of vision, mission  and values. The question is, can a business be too small to worry about these things? The answer is whether you want your business to become a kissable brand. Are you a brand or a comomidty? If the brand shines through excellent customer service, then you are half way there.
