Support Us

Show your support by getting some exercise in the great outdoors which is good for your emotional wellbeing. The walk is free to enter, because the most valuable thing you can do is to show your support by walking alongside us. However, walkers are welcome to seek sponsorships from friends and family in support of their walk – you can download a sponsorship form from our website.   You can also help us to raise money my clicking on the ‘donate’ button on the Worthing and Arun Mind website.

Why your support is important

Mental health is often a hidden illness; if you break your leg it is easy for others to see your leg is hurting.  Emotional pain, however, is less easy to see and people can find it difficult to talk about this. By talking about mental health, people start to realise they can lead a meaningful life by finding ways to feel well, cope well and stay well.  Sharing how they feel with others can help to build relationships and challenge the myths and misconceptions about mental health.

The Brand Surgery, creative chartered marketing consultancy based in Sussex, produce all the marketing material for Worthing and Arun Mind charity. We also provide a marketing consultancy service and maintain the website.

Here’s what Worthing and Arun Mind say about The Brand Surgery:

“During our time with The Brand Surgery, we have developed a good working relationship with Vicky who has quickly understood our needs. Her friendly and can-do attitude has made me feel completely at ease and that we are in capable hands. These consultations have been invaluable, leaving us feeling empowered and confident to put her advice into action – despite us not having a technical background!”
